The Results are In

Well after a long night of not much sleep, I am happy to announce that the test came back positive!!! James and I are going to be parents. I went in for my test this morning at 8am, and my boss was so nice to let me take another day off. I really didn't want to be at my office and find out the results there. It didn't take long for the doctor's office to call me, and give me the good news. I know it is really early in the pregnancy and a lot of things could happen, but I am so excited that the test was positive. A positive test is the first step! My HcG levels were 191 today, and the office said anything over 100 was really good. I have to go back on Thursday to have them checked again. They like to see them double every 48-72 hours, and I am hoping that they just continue to go up. Once the levels are above 2,000 we can have our first ultrasound. Depending on the timing we will hopefully be able to hear a heart beat that day. As of now we do not know if we will be expecting twins or not, but I am hoping that both Almond and Pistachio are hanging in there and are growing big and strong.

Well I think that is it. That really is enough news for one day! Please continue to pray for me and the babies.
